Flood Lights on the Exit Sign
We were listening to Bashar* talk about physical reality as a chess game, and also earlier we read a post on IG by Nick Zei** about "leveling up" and when fear, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, etc come up to see them as signs of expansion. To continue forward with creating despite whatever perceived fears or limitations help us to transcend and "level up" into our new reality. This connects to Bashar's talk when he talks about how we can see each stage of our lives as a "new game” and that we may take on different roles at different times. That the pawn can become the queen, and is no less important than any other piece. The higher mind is the player and the physical body/mind is the piece, and it's job is to follow the instruction of the higher mind by acting on the vibration of passion, excitement, love, and creativity. We certainly have gone through a lot of challenging experiences and states of mind this last year, as memory serves, which is a sign of approaching the end of the level, and so our action is to continue forward creatively in whatever way feels most exciting and aligned, and to be ready to share ourselves as fully as possible as we step into this new level.
Just now in Amherst Coffee we witnessed an interaction with a mother and young daughter. We had noticed their playful and sweet way of interacting since they had come in, and were enjoying observing peripherally. As they were leaving, the daughter asked about the lights "up there" pointing above our head. There were a few different lights, as well as vents hanging down that had a lamp-like shape to them, which the mother thought she was referring to as lights. We looked up and saw the exit sign above our head, which has two flood lights above the sign. We pointed to the exit sign and asked if that's what she was referring to. When the mother realized this she explained what they were, but said that she didn't know what they were for. As they walked out the mother blessed us with a "have a good day." We considered for a moment and then realized that the lights were for in emergency situations, when the fire alarm goes off the lights must come on to guide people through smoke toward the exit. Something that Nick Zei had said in his post was that in these times of "leveling up" that the “master” disappears so that we are seemingly on our own as we navigate the challenge, but in looking at the flood lights lighting up the exit sign, they only come on when there is genuine danger to light the way, and so to think of the "master" (the higher self, guides, angels, God, Source…) the Light is always there, but will only illuminate the path when there is a genuine need. That doesn't mean that we aren't being guided by our vibration of passion, as Bashar says. That is always available to us if we listen and act on it, but when we're lost and in danger the light will always show us the way. If there is no light we can find, that’s a good sign that whatever we're going through is fully in our abilities to take care of, so relax, breathe, and trust ourselves to do what needs to be done.
We feel the excitement in the body while writing this. We have had multiple people ask us in the last few months if we write, and so it had been on our mind, like the universe hinting, "Do you write? Don't you want to write? Don't you want to have things to share?” I have been talking about wanting to create more, share more, but not knowing quite what our path forward is as we see many things that we feel excited by: dance, singing, spirituality, traveling, photography, acting, sexuality. We do believe that all of these are wonderful expressions of our creativity, but sometimes we don't know what is the best path forward. Bashar teaches that each passion will come into play when it is the most appropriate for us to act on at any given time, and our vibration of excitement is what will lead us to the right action in that moment. And so as we continue to rewrite our neural network in this way of thinking, it is also helpful to remember that when we truly need it, the flood lights will illuminate the way out of danger and back to safety, granting us the ability to trust ourselves more fully and act on our highest passion without hesitation more consistently.
Thank you for reading! If you have questions or thoughts about any of this we’d love to hear them and talk more. We love you all❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷🌈
